DOI: 10.33917/mic-3.128.2026.74-83

This article examines the specifics of managing educational projects in the cultural sphere in the context of global socioeconomic and sociocultural challenges and growing civilizational and value confrontation. Managing educational projects in the cultural sphere is presented as a multifaceted process that requires consideration of the current regulatory framework, project-based approaches, the specifics of the sphere and project implementation tools, methods for evaluating project effectiveness, characteristics of the target audience, the social and information context, and other aspects. The advantages of sociocultural design in the cultural sphere are analyzed. Its features are examined using the example of a charitable, musical, and educational project implemented with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives — performances of the rock opera «Walking into Fire» in Russian cities in 2024–2025. The article demonstrates that a project-based approach offers opportunities for the state and cultural representatives to quickly respond to public demands in the cultural and spiritual spheres, promote socially significant works of art, raise the population’s cultural level, and support its civic and patriotic motivation, taking into account the principles of cost-effectiveness and developing partnerships between the state and non-profit structures and public organizations.
