The Global Web of Western Colonization of the World: From Economics and Politics to Consciousness and Meaning

The article examines the West’s attempts to expose the world to a new colonization, both economically and politically, as well as through manipulation of consciousness, civilizational meanings and values. The paper reveals the content of the “Washington Consensus” model and coloniality as a new term in political discourse, denoting a more complex colonial dependence of modern times, hidden under the external appearance of independence and sovereignty, distinguishing it from the classical colonialism of the past.
