Sleep is a mysterious, not fully studied state of the organism, but it is quite clear: a person, for one reason or another being regularly deprived of sleep, is deprived of all the great possibilities that sleep gives. The science of somnology, for our country still exotic, deals with a variety of sleep disorders, the reasons causing them and the ways to overcome them. There are very few specialists in this area. Our conversation today is with the most important person among such specialist – Roman Buzunov, president of the All-Russian public organization “Russian Society of Somnologists”, head of the Sleep Medicine Center at “Barvikha” clinical sanatorium” of the Presidential Administration of Russia, professor at the Department of Restorative Medicine and Medical Rehabilitation with pediatrics courses , nursing, clinical psychology and pedagogy of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution “Central State Medical Academy” of the Presidential executive office, Honored Doctor of RF, Doctor of Medical Sciences.
