Об отдельных аспектах политики ЕС по декриминализации кредитно-финансовой сферы и снижению рисков отмывания преступных доходов

Риски отмывания денег и финансирования терроризма по-прежнему вызывают серьезную обеспокоенность в Европейском союзе (ЕС), в том числе в контексте обеспечения целостности финансовой системы Союза, а также безопасности его граждан. Согласно данным Европола, до 0,7-1,28 % годового валового внутреннего продукта Европейского союза «определяется как связанный с подозрительной финансовой деятельностью». Поэтому борьба с отмыванием денег и финансированием терроризма является приоритетом для ЕС и важной составляющей его политики безопасности.
